Matthew 22:38-40

We are to love the Lord God with all our Heart, with all our soul and with all our mind. And the second is like unto it, we are to love others as we love ourselves. Upon these hang all the law and the prophets.

Possible Spiritual Implications

Please note that dealing with dis-ease is different than dealing with tribulations and persecutions. The Bible says that we will suffer persecution and that we will endure hardships. (Matthew 5:11-12) But I found that by dealing with our own heart condition and developing a strong and intimate relationship with God, it will help us to "patiently endur" as we go through trials of life. We'll then be able to say, "Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him." (Job 13:15).

We will be victorious "in" our trials, and once we have come out of them (because the Lord says He delivers us out of them ALL - (Psalm 34:17) we won't even smell like smoke! (Daniel 3:23-27)

I discovered that behind most health issues and emotional or spiritual problems resides the "Spirit of Fear." The Spirit of Fear is the Devil's faith working in people by using lies to deceive them. And if we dwell on the lies long enough, we will begin to believe them thus resulting in responding to them, which can lead to all kinds of problems. The enemy cannot "do" anything, but he can use you to do "his" will. To combat our foe it will help if we discover the root behind some of our problems.

The things that we go through may be a manifestation of a root. The Bible says that we reap what we sow so sometimes we have caused our own problems. (Refer to the teaching on Fear) But thank God, we have an advocate, Jesus Christ, Who is our Savior and sets us free! (Romans 7:24-25, 8:2) He gives us His mind (1 Cor. 2:16). He gives us the power to cast down all imaginations and lies. (2 Cor. 10:5) We need to discover what our weapons are to cast out the lies from our minds. (Ephesians 6:14) The Bible says that the Devil is the father of lies! (John 8:44) So we need to learn more about Truth so we can discern the lies and get rid of them. As we get closer to our Heavenly Father through His Son Jesus, we shall "know" the truth makes us free. If we stay in fear we are not made perfect in Love and it's the love that casts out all fear - God's love (1 John 4:18). When we are not living in truth (faith), long-term fear could manifest all sorts of problems - physically, mentally and spiritually (Proverbs 26:2).

Also, sometimes we have sin in our lives just because of the fact we were born into a sinful world. Even David said that He was conceived in iniquity. He knew that many of the things he did in his life was as a result of iniquity coming through his generations. So many of our issues start in the womb! These are areas that we need to deal with because not all dis-ease is from sins we have committed but from somewhere in our generations that were passed to us.

There are also some diseases that are not spiritually rooted. I'll only be addressing those that are because most of them come from some spiritual dimension. There is even documented proof from the medical community that states that 80-90% of diseases come from anxiety, stress, and worry. Hmmm.....

In order to deal with each and every issue, regardless of their source, restoring you to our Heavenly Father is our main concern. It's vital to every believer whether or not they have a dis-ease. Revelation 2:4-5 tells us of a church that did so many wonderful things but they lacked in the area of the "Love of God." Having our relationship restored to God is the first step that opens to us the truth that makes us free. The closer we get to our Heavenly Father the more light is shed on our heart and the more light that is shed on our heart the more "junk" is exposed that are not of Him.

People don't understand their part in all this. Jeremiah 5:25 says it's our sins and iniquities that prevent good things from happening to us. Hosea 4:6 says that God's people perish for lack of knowledge. Isaiah 59:1-2 says the Lord's hand is not shortened that it cannot save, neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear; but our iniquities have separated between us and our God, and our sins have hid His face from us, that He will not hear.

God can do anything, but He doesn't go against His own Word. If He sees something in us that has to go, He will cause it to be brought out into the light and only does this for our good. Not to make us feel bad, but to show us what He wants purged. Then as it's brought out into the light we are to confess these things to God... in the name of Jesus... who has carried all our sins on the cross and washes us clean. When we are clean then we can have fellowship with God. He demands holiness and He sees us through the Blood that Jesus gave on the cross for us. This happens immediately when we receive Christ as Savior, however, many believers forget that and live as though they haven't been forgiven. (2 Peter 1:9). This ministry is here to help you remember so that you can find your peace and freedom for the first time, or again.

Many of our dis-eases are simply the manifestation of a heart issue. Let me say this very clearly, God did not give you a dis-ease. Just as a fever is an indication that something is amiss in our bodies. These are warning signs. And we can either cooperate with God and deal with what was exposed or fight Him all the way. "Come let us reason together says the Lord, though your sins be as scarlet they shall be white as snow, though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool" (Isaiah 1:18).

God already knows our heart, it's no surprise what is there. We're the ones who are surprised by what is there, and sometimes shocked! But as things come to the surface, don't run, don't hide in the bushes like Adam did. Come to God as a child would to their father, and confess to Him, receive forgiveness and be made clean and transparent before Him. David sinned, but he was known as a man after God's own heart. Why? Because he was truthful with God, He came to Him and confessed his sin before Him. The Lord delights in those who walk in truth! (3 John 4).

We have designed this website to impart knowledge so that you have what you need to "know" the Love of Christ, the you will be filled with all the fullness of God. (Ephesians 3:19). We start in the area of Relationships. Even the 10 commandments reflect this. The first 5 commandments are about relationship with God, the last 5 are relationship with others. Jesus summed it up in Matthew 22:38-40. "We are to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul and mind... and love others as we love ourself." As we get in line with the Word of God about relationships, the chemicals in our bodies begin to balance out resulting in homeostasis (balanced chemicals in the body). It's the unbalanced chemicals in the body that makes us sick. We even say that today, "My chemicals are out of balance." And that is very true. But the real truth is our bodies have the correct amount of chemicals to produce perfect health.

Diseases that are incurable, etiology unknown or there is no cure, may constitute a spiritually rooted disease - a dis-ease that comes from our spirit/heart. (Some dis-eases are passed down through the generations, and those dis-eases derived from someone in your generations that had spiritual issues.) Dis-eases start at a breakdown with someone in relationship. If you have a dis-ease, ask God where your relationship breach is. You may even have a relationship breach with yourself! Matthew 22:38-40 states that we are to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul and mind and love our neighbor as ourself upon this hang all the laws and the prophets. In other words, when we keep this commandment we fulfill all the law! If we restore those areas of relationship that are not perfected in love, I can guarantee you, you will find your peace. Peace produces homeostasis that can produce good health. You do not need to know the "root" of a disease to find peace, I've found that by restoring our relationships with God, self and others, produces better health to deal with the dis-ease you may have.

This Website also offers a number of teachings on fear, forgiveness, love, bitterness, rejection, and more. Take the time to go through every teaching on this site to help uncover the possible "roots" in your life that could prevent "good things from happening to you." The Bible says to clean the inside of the dish then the outside shall be clean. We are busy putting bandages and drugs and methods on our sicknesses and discomforts, when all along we need to deal with our hearts. Then once we have done all we know to do with prayer, then stand. Having done all, stand! and wait for the salvation of the Lord (Ephesians 6:13).

The following are things I found in the Bible that actually affect our health. As you read the Bible yourself, if you are looking, you will find these and many more. This is only an example, the Bible is full of health related scriptures:

Scripture Reference Produces
Hope deferred makes the heart sick Proverbs 13:12 Depression, self-pity, doubt and unbelief, heart problems, anxiety and stress, parkinson's
A merry heart does good like a medicine Proverbs 17:22 Joy, peace, health
A broken spirit dries up the bones Proverbs 17:22 Brittle bones, allergies, fear
Shame to a husband is rottenness to his bones Proverbs 12:4 When women shame their husbands, it can produce health issues in a husbands bones
A curse causeless shall not come Proverbs 26:2 There is a reason to everything that happens. Take a look at Deuteronomy 28 to see the list of diseases - these are listed as curses.
Envy is rottenness to the bones Proverbs 14:30 Another bone disease
Critical and perverse lips Proverbs 4:24 Bitterness, strive and every evil thing
God has not given us the spirit of fear 2 Timothy 1:7 Fear is a spirit that God has not given. Many roots to dis-ease starts with fear.
He that hates reproof shall die Proverbs 12:1 Not much clearer than that. The body begins dying at the cellular level. We have time to get things right in our heart long before final death happens.
He that trusts in the Lord happy is he Proverbs 16:20 When we truly trust God, we will have peace and peace produces health and health produces happiness
Death and life are in the power of the tongue Proverbs 18:21 Our words do matter, it can cause others to feel good or to feel terrible which can, if long term, produce illness.

Miscellaneous Terms:

Term Description
Anxiety Disorder Fear. Many have opted to use the word "stress, or Anxiety" when describing this. But these are nice ways of saying we have fear - but no one wants to admit that.
Arguing Can arguing make you sick? Where strife is every evil thing resides. (James 3:16)
Bitterness (Unforgiveness) Bitterness is a root that can breed other problems such as unforgiveness, resentment, retaliation, rage and anger, etc. Bitterness (offense toward someone) has to be dealt with through forgiveness.
Controller Rooted in fear and anxiety of losing control. If a woman, can be rooted in matriarchal witchcraft.
Driven ness The need to perform to gain attention, love and acceptance. Fear of being rejected. It's a form of control. Manipulation brought on by an unloving spirit and fear. The room may come from wanting to please a parent in a home of rejection, strife, anger, un acceptance, unloved and unrest.
Fear Fear is a spirit. "God has not given us the spirit of fear, but power love and a sound mind." (2 Tim. 1:7) Fear is the devil's faith and anytime evil is present, fear is always. Fear is the direct opposite of love. Receive God's perfect love for you, it will cast out any fear there. Fear and love cannot reside at the same time. If you are fearing, you are not being made perfect in love. It's not our love that we need, it's God's perfect love in us. If you have difficulty receiving God's love personally, or even know how to do so, refer back to the teachings found under "blocks" in the 6 basic principles. The battle is in our minds. A fear thought comes, we begin to dwell on it, it becomes real, we become one with it, and it's taken root, now manifests in our body through sweat, anxiety, shaking, all kinds of body symptoms. The spirit needs to be cast out and replaced with the Word of God and His love. When fear is present it causes secretion of liquid into the body. A hormone called ACTH is released by the hypothalamus gland, which produces us to want to fight or run.
Hopelessness and Despair Is a result of not knowing your identity, who you are, where you are going. Psalm 139 says to search me and know me. II Corinthians 10:6, II Corinthians 10:5. The battle begins in the mind. We need to take every thought captive and cast out the wrong thoughts of who we are and replace them with what the Bible says we are in God. Doubt and unbelief also causes hopelessness - not believing God loves you or is really there.
Inherited disease When you have a genetic code defect it's something that is passed on to you by "familiar spirits" in the family tree. The bloodline curse is to be stopped. It can be stopped by you. Refer to the generational curses teaching on this website for more information.
Idolatry Putting anything before God, including yourself and your needs. Fear and worry comes by trying to do things yourself, not trusting God. You are putting yourself between you and God.
Insecurity Rooted in fear. Feeling vulnerable and unprotected. This comes from not trusting God loves you nor receiving that love for yourself. If someone received God's love the way we were created to, this person would never feel insecure. It has nothing to do with the people around you because nothing is for certain in this world. We need to put our confidence in God not in man. (Psalm 118:8) FYI: This scripture is the center most scripture in the Bible, go figure!
Occultism Making itself to be real when it is fake.
Pharmaceuticals Pharmakia is the definition of the word - and pharmakia is defined as sorcery.
Rage and Anger Rooted in bitterness against a parent or guardian. Presumably a male figure mate. Found that men who have rage and anger stems from a mother figure who has rejected or abandoned or abused them.
Self-pity Idolatry - putting self above God. Self-pity keeps us tied to the past hurts and disappointments, causing us to become self-consumed.
Strife The Bible says that wherever strife is is every evil thing. Strife is not the same as "strive." Strife is where there is an undercurrent of unrest, though no one says so. You just "feel" the tension in the air. Anger comes from strife, it starts from within with feelings of discontentment, judgment, etc.
Self-hatred, Self-bitterness, any self problems You don't know how much God loves you, you have not accepted His unconditional love, and you have not accepted that you are righteous in Jesus Christ. A revelation of this love has to take root for you to love and accept yourself. Be sure to study the teaching on God's love.
Anti-Christ Spirit (loveless ness) Comes from generations in family tree. "Familiar Spirit" that has been assigned to the family and is passed down from your fathers. It is not happy unless it is trashing others or self. Out of it then comes the inability to love, producing guilty complex.
Witchcraft - control nature Stubbornness to the Word of God. Someone who makes up their own words and creates their own kingdom.

The main block that I have found in almost every situation is inability to receive God's perfect love. It's perhaps because we see all the "junk" in our lives and wonder how God or anyone can really love us without conditions, or love us at all. We have forgotten that our old sins have been forgiven (2 Peter 1:9). We need to confess the things we see in our heart and "receive" forgiveness. If we don't do that, we will stay stuck "in" our sin. So regardless what the sin is, confess it. Allow God's love nd forgiveness to purge you and restore you. You don't have to do anything else... You confess what you see, receive forgiveness, seek God's love every single day, and God will do all the healing, restoring, delivering, and freeing. Of course, there could be a health issued associated with this, but the root behind health issues most likely stems from what is going on in your heart.

As you go through the various dis-eases below, keep in mind that there is no formula to your healing. But also know that when you meet the criteria for healing according to the Word, it is most likely you will be delivered. But remember, it's important to realize that with forgiveness of your own sins, you are to also forgive and receive forgiveness from others to complete the cycle.

The Bible says the perfect love casts out all fear and torment. Isn't it apparent that torment is behind every disease? You will see from the information following that many diseases are a result of stress, and stress is a result of fear! So when we "receive" God's perfect love, it will cast out all fear and torment! Because when we are made perfect in love, fear and torment has to go. And as you continue to seek God (your part of course) and be ever filled with His love and forgiveness, mercy and grace, you are being equipped to stay free and help others be free. THen when you interact with people, you are living through unconditional love, not all your junk that has been in you for years. How can we love someone when we don't love ourselves. How can we love ourselves when we don't receive God's love for us? It's all about love.

Disclosure: The following information is for study and research only. It's not a substitute for doctor's advice or treatment. We are not doctors, psychiatrists, or professionals, we are ministers administering the gospel as it relates to health. We cannot heal, we cannot even promise that this teaching will heal, the Lord heals. But we can study what the scriptures say, and when we fall in line with the Word, it is possible that our bodies will also balance our chemicals that to promote good health.

As we dive into this aspect to know whether a disease has a spiritual implication or not, we need to see what the Bible says. Many ailments are listed there, and the following information will help you on your quest for finding the answers to those areas that cause you dis-ease. You will need a Bible, Webster’s dictionary and a medical dictionary. We will address many illnesses here, but you can also use this method for researching more for yourself. By following this guideline, you can begin your own research of biblical truths concerning health and other conditions.

We find by addressing areas of relationship will ultimately result in restoring the body to perfect health. Because if we don’t love others, and if we don’t forgive others, it adversely affects us emotionally, physically and spiritually. Matthew 22:38-40 says that we are to love the Lord our God with all of our heart, soul and mind. And to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. So what does that really mean? How do we love someone when we have been hurt so badly by them? Many of our illnesses stem from broken relationships. The Bible teaches all about relationships! It’s critical to our achieving perfect health and balance in our lives. When we have a broken relationship it causes a broken spirit. Proverbs 17:22 says that a broken spirit dries up the bones. If a person says, "I will never forgive them" then you are lunch for the devil.

Medically proven when a person has a broken heart, it affects their health! Right there in Proverbs 17:22 we are already seeing that bone issues could be from a broken spirit. Proverbs 16:13 says, A Merry heart makes a cheerful countenance, but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken. So as we investigate further, when the bones are dried up it not only causes bone disease, issues, but also affects our immune system. (These things are documented in medical properties.) God knew what He was doing when He created us. He knew what we needed to do to “stay” healthy. It was never his intention that we would have to suffer any diseases, but because we have a “lack of knowledge” in such areas, sickness came. So by identifying the areas in your own life that need to be restored, getting rid of fear that keeps the sickness alive, developing your love walk with God, and forgiving yourself and others, you are well on you way to a healthy and balanced life.

First we need to understand our body’s makeup. We all start with a single cell. That cell is the beginning of all life. Did you know we have an enemy who wants to kill that cell? Did you know that life is in the blood (Leviticus 17:11). He knows that the life of man is in the blood, so that’s what he wants to take from us. He knows just how to do it too. He knows that be separating you from God, yourself and others, he is causing your body to be separated physically. A broken spirit dries up the bones, so by drying up your blood - which by the way is the marrow in your bones – he is killing off your cells! And he’s doing it with your permission! He has to get you to have unforgiveness toward another, to hate and be angry, to not love, to not be able to receive love, to not trust God, he knows that by doing this, he’s got you!

So what are we going to do? We need to know some things too. We need to know what makes us tick so we can defeat the enemy’s deceit. Hosea 4:6 says that God's people are destroyed for lack of knowledge and rejects the knowledge they have. Isaiah says, “My people perish because they either don’t know knowledge (Isaiah 5:13)” So by learning how to seek the truth in the Word about your health and spiritual condition, I believe we can get some freedom!

Is Disease a Curse?

Deuteronomy 28:15: But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee: What are his commandments? Jesus summed it up on one passage found in Matthew 22:38-40. We are to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul and mind and love others as we love ourselves.

Most of the diseases listed in this scripture are as a direct result of not trusting or believing God and His word nor doing them. Deuteronomy 26 lists many of the diseases known to man today. They are listed as curses. So if you think God gave you a disease, think again! God does not give disease, disease comes when you are disobedient to the Word.

What is a curse? Every disease imaginable is listed in this chapter. From vs. 16- 66, it goes from anxiety and panic attacks, to bone disease, all the way to hemorrhoids!

Let’s name them:
• Cursed shall you be in the city (vs. 16-17)

• Whatever you put your hands to will not be successful (vs. 18-20)

• Pestilence that consumes thee and take your life (vs. 21)

• Consumption, fever, inflammation, burning skin, mildew. (vs. 22)

• Oppression and heaviness (vs.23)

• Working the land will only turn to dust (vs. 24)

• Enemies will win, you will run from them (vs. 25)

• In vs. 27 - Botch, emerods, scab, itch where it cannot be healed. What diseases do you see here? What is a botch? Could it be Staph Infection? Let’s see what a botch means according to the Webster’s dictionary: A swelling on the skin, a boil, an eruptive disease! This describes MRSA a disease that is a boil that is an eruptive disease where there is NO cure! What about scabs? Psoriasis or eczema?

• Vs. 28 – mental disease? It says madness, blindness and astonishment of heart. Sounds like stress and fear to me.

• Knee problems and sores that cannot be healed from the sole of thy feet until the top of thy head? (Vs. 35)

• Thy children will have problems and go into captivity. Do you have any children in prison? Not only can they be captive by the judicial system, but captive in their own hearts, filled with fear.

• Vs. 45-46 it goes on to say that all these curses shall come upon you and over take you because you did not harken unto the voice of God and keep his commandments. And that your sins shall fall upon your children and your children’s children!

• Vs. 56-66 goes on about other curses that affect your life in every area, from business, to home life.

• Vs. 66 concludes by saying that you shall be in doubt, and you shall fear day and night and have no assurance of your salvation!! How many doubt their own salvation?
Isaiah 59:1-2 “1Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity, your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness. None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.

But I’m Not Under the Curse!
But you say, “I’m no longer under the curse because I’m a Christian and Jesus broke the curse.” Let me answer it this way by asking you a question. Do you know any Christians who have any of the diseases listed in Deuteronomy 28 or Leviticus 26? If we are free from the curse, then whey are we still dying from them? Something is missing! We need to understand there are conditions to healing. You may be saved, but you may not have good health and even die prematurely.

So how do we reverse the curse of these diseases?

Matthew 22:38-40 has the answer. To Love the Lord your God with all your heart soul and mind, and love your neighbor as you love yourself. Why is this the answer? Because it then says, by doing this you keep all the commandments! And many dis-eases are due to disobedience. There are conditions to healing and the main area is to have a clean heart toward God, ourselves and others! This has nothing to do with salvation, it has to do with sanctification. We are to love God, yourself and others. Well, you say, “I Do love God.” But are you keeping all His commandments? Are you loving and forgiving your neighbor? Are you loving and forgiving yourself? Whatever you do to others, you do to Him. We don’t need to fall under guilt and condemnation, but take responsibility for what you see and just tell it to God. He is the one who heals you. So begin today to trust Him with your life!

Proverbs 3:5-8 “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding, In all they ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes, fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel and marrow to thy bones.”

As you read the rest of Proverbs 3, it also addresses how to be happy, how to have more than enough, long life, staying safe in all thy ways so that your foot won’t stumble, and when you lie down, you shall not be afraid, your sleep shall be sweet, how helping a neighbor causes you to have good health, and so on. Take the time to look at it and see all the health attributes written there, and what is the main focus on how to be healthy? To love God with all your heart, soul and mind and strength. To love your neighbor as you love yourself.”

As you can see, scripture has all the answers! There is nothing new under the sun, no one has a monopoly on identifying spiritual conditions to a disease, it’s all right there for anyone to see, if we take the time to look. “A diligent person makes rich” Proverbs 10:4.

By dealing with the heart of man, the body can heal. Our bodies were made to heal but we need to have the proper "stuff" for that to happen. Just as we need fuel for the body to work properly, we also need fuel for our mind and spirit. This produces perfect homeostasis, which is when the body is balanced (in perfect peace) in all the chemicals that produces good health.

The Bible is full of scriptures on regaining your peace! Peace promotes good health! “Perfect peace comes to those whose mind is stayed on the Lord because we trust Him” (Isaiah 26:3). Perfect peace comes when we Know God loves us and we trust Him. We need to search our own heart to see if we have fear of the Lord in a wrong way. To see where our breach in relationship is with Him. Are we mad at Him? Do we doubt He cares for us personally? Do we fear? These are indicators that we aren’t trusting Him, which will cause unrest.

Many disorders, diseases, or bad circumstance comes from some type of broken relationship with yourself, with others or with God. By restoring your relationships on these three levels, will reverse the curse that is over your life.

Guide to Spiritual Implication: As a rule of thumb, to know if a disease has a possible spiritual implication is if one of the following describes the disease:

1) no cure
2) no known reason
3) chronic

Your Participation:

Take the time to study for yourself. A diligent person makes rich! Take the time to be a good student and study all aspects in every disease you see. I've noted several diseases that are rampant today. Most are not listed in the Bible but their symptoms could be! Follow this simple guideline to do your own research and study:

1) Look up each word in the medical dictionary
2) Document their symptoms
3) Search the Bible for the symptoms. It may be a scavenger hunt because the terminologies are different, but I do believe with careful study and research you will be able to discover the root issues behind each and every disease!
4) Look up the drugs used to treat. Then look up that drug in the medical dictionary. You may find what you are looking for.

Example Using the Steps Above:

Fibromyalgia: The is a great resource as it has the current information about dis-eases. In each case, ask the following

1) What is Fibromyalgia? All over the body pain, and to do the simplest tasks can cause pain from mild to severe. Muscle pain is most common, and chronic. Found mostly in women, men could have it too. (Note: Significance here, why do women have it more than men? Perhaps because women are more emotional than men needing nurture and care from someone who is supposed to love them. But if they aren’t receiving that love, they are being depleted from the very thing that promotes good health. I remember someone teaching once, “Women need 12 touches a day for a healthy immune system.” If a woman hasn’t been loved or unable to receive love, the body could be affected.)

2) How the disease works? The pain comes from electrical signals from the brain, and damaged nerves sometimes sends extra signals. Signals that healthy nerves would not send. These extra signals cause the pain. Nerve damage may occur for example from a viral or bacterial infection. It could also be linked to injury. One study showed that most (if not all) of the fibromyalgia symptoms can be traced back to weakened bone, joint and muscle metabolism (

3) What are the symptoms?

a. Chronic widespread muscle pain
b. Muscle soreness
c. Tenderness
d. Flu-like aching
e. Problems sleeping
f. Morning stiffness
g. Fatigue
h. Dull pain in muscles
i. Other symptoms are also found in rheumatoid arthritis (an auto-immune disease)

Is there a connection to an auto-immune deficiency component? As we learned earlier an auto-immune disease comes from a broken spirit.

By looking at the symptoms, did you see any listed under the “stress and fear” chart? Yes, there were several: Muscle function! Sleeping disorders! Fatigue! "Chronic” is listed under the guide, which could represent a spiritual root.

4) What drugs are used? It also states there is no known cure! (This is also listed under possibilities of being a spiritual root). The drug most commonly used is LYRICA. What does Lyrica do? It reduces the amount of electrical signals from the brain, and be aware, there are side effects. EXorb is another drug used that raises the metabolism in the bone and joint tissue! Again, what are the spiritual connections? Muscle Metabolism!

5) So what do you do?

a. Who did not love me or nurture me who was supposed to?

b. Have I forgiven them from my heart? (Be sure to go through the teaching on forgiving from your heart, it is quite different than just forgiving someone with your mouth or mind.)

c. Have I forgiven myself?

d. Have I confessed any blame or accusations I may have toward God about this disease or relationships connected that aren’t good?

e. Take all this to the Lord. Confess any of your sins of unforgiveness, anger, fear, resentment, jealousies, envy, performance, drivenness, neediness, or whatever you may have found in your heart. Forgive those involved, forgive yourself and confess any bitterness or anger you have toward God. Come clean in ever area of your life concerning this matter. And pray for God to restore you in relationship with Him, yourself and others.

I worked with a woman who had fibromyalgia. During ministry we discovered that she was in deep hurt and pain from her father who rejected her, abandoned her, and abused her mentally. She couldn’t even talk about him without bursting into tears. Since I knew she needed her heart restored in this area, I wanted to minister the father’s love to her. When I explained the process, she ran out of the room! The next time we met, she was able to receive the ministry. During this ministry time, she was able to forgive her father, forgive herself and be restored to God and His love. Because she compared her earthly father’s relationship to God, there were issues there too. The next time I talked to her, her fibromyalgia was gone!!!

Diseases Defined

We are going to address several types of diseases as found in the Bible to help identify any “missing” pieces that may be causing dis-sease.

Auto-immune diseases –Proverbs 17:22 says “A merry heart does good like a medicate, but a broken spirit dries up the bones.” Proverbs 15:13 says, A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken. The immune system is then affected because of a heart issue.

Because of past hurts and rejection you have attacked yourself with your thoughts and words, “I hate myself, I don’t like what I see in the mirror, you are stupid, you should never have been born, I wish I were dead, nobody will ever love me, I hate myself, etc.”. Your body then responds, after listening to this over the years, and begins eating the body. The white corpuscles are supposed to guard us from disease, but because of the self-hatred and self-rejection, the body begins to attack itself as demonstrated in the diseases below: (Medically documented)

• Crone’s disease
• Candita
• Multiple Sclerosis
• Diabetes
• Alzheimer’s
• Lupus
• Common Cold
• Rheumatoid Arthritis
• Allergies

How to reverse these diseases: Forgive those who have wronged you, didn’t love you who were supposed to love and take care of you, and forgive and love yourself. Be restored to your Heavenly Father by confessing any accusations against Him. He is the one who heals and so we need to be reconciled to Him and His love. As you do this, your heart will be filled with joy again. A merry heart does good like a medicine. So by having joy in your heart, it actually helps the body be well.

The result: Eccl. 9:7: Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepts thy works.

By addressing the issues of unforgiveness toward self and others, you are “doing” the will of God. If we don’t forgive others neither will God forgive you (Matthew 6:15) and illness is at the door!

Job 21:24 “His breasts are full of mil, and his bones are moistened with marrow.” The Lord knows the body oh so well, and when we are balanced in our chemicals, the bones are moistened with marrow because if the marrow is dried up, disease is eminent.

By looking at these scriptures, it is clear that men’s hearts fail because of fear , especially when looking out into the future. Matthew 6:34 says “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” The following diseases are related to heart conditions:

Fear comes when we worry about tomorrow, the what’if’s of life, etc. We are called to live “today,” not in yesterday and not in tomorrow. Our peace comes when we live in the moment, and when we have peace, our body balances out in peace too. For whatever the heart thinks, so is he (Proverbs 23:7).

I asked someone one time if they had fear. They said, “Oh, no, I don’t have fear and very offended I even mentioned it. But then I asked, “Do you have stress?” He responded, “Yes, I do have stress.” See many don’t see the truth! They are in fear of seeing they have fear. People are destroyed because the reject knowledge. And if you don’t believe you have fear, how can you be set free?

Below lists several diseases associated with stress: (Most taken from an anatomy and physiology medical book)

• Carbohydrate metabolism
• Protein metabolism
• Muscle function
• Carbohydrate metabolism
• Protein metabolism
• Blood vessels
• Central Nervous System
• Hypertension
• Stroke
• Heart rhythm fluttering
• Impotency/Frigidity
• Ulcers
• Hay fever
• Eczema
• Acne
• Diabetes Type A
• Over-eating
• Depression
• Insomnia
• Auto Immune Disease (Diabetes, Multiple Sclerosis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, Crone's Disease, and other white corpuscle deviate behavior.)
• Muscle Contraction
• Back Ache
• Candita
• Asthma
• Congestive Heart Failure

Each of these diseases are rooted in fear. Where does this fear come from? Could it be in relationship with people? Luke 21:26 says Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. It looks like fearing tomorrow is implicated. What does the Bible say about tomorrow's thoughts? "Take no thought for the morrow..." (Matthew 6:34)

Antidote to fear? Love

Cell Wall Rigidity is a medical term used for many dis-eases today. It is when the body is unable to absorb fluids which literally dries us up! When we take a vitamin, it can’t absorb into our blood stream but just goes right out and we are wasting (no pun intended) money! As you look up the diseases through your own study, be sure to make note if it mentions cell wall rigidity.

Bone Disease:

By doing a search on the word "bone" in the Bible, the following passages displayed:

Job 4:14 “Fear came upon me, and trembling, and made all my bones to shake.

Psalm 31:10 “For my life is spent with grief, my years with sighing, my strength faileth because of my iniquity, and my bones are consumed.”

Psalm 38:3 “There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine (someone else’s) anger, neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.” (Matthew 5 tells us if anyone has a problem with us, we are to go to them and be reconciled. And it also points out here, it’s not only with someone else toward us, but it’s also our own sin that can cause our bone problems.)

Proverbs 14:30 “A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones.” (This seems very straight-forward to me. If there is any envy or jealousy in a person’s heart, it affects our bones.)

Proverbs 12:4 “A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.” (So, there is a responsibility toward women too. When we embarrass our husbands or mistreat them through disrespect, we can cause the men to have bone dis-ease.)

OK... because we need to balance this out, this scripture talks about a man's relationship with a woman and that their prayers can be hindered if they don't take care of their wives properly. 1 Peter 3:7: “Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honor unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered. (Husbands also have a responsibility to their wives. If women are not treated with tenderness and kindness, prayers are not heard!)

Several things to look at in these scriptures that could promote bone problems:

1. Grief. If you look up the word “grief” in the dictionary, it means: Pain of mind on account of something in the past; mental suffering arising from any cause, as misfortune, loss of friends, misconduct of one's self or others, etc.; sorrow; sadness. hard-ship, suffering, affliction, burden, oppression.

2. Sighing: To inhale a larger quantity of air than usual, and immediately expel it; to make a deep single audible respiration, especially as the result or involuntary expression of fatigue, exhaustion, grief, sorrow, or the like.

3. Strength faileth: Could we see this as fatigue? Could we see this as being tired and depressed? Could we see this as feeling old and uninterested? The Bible says that our strength will rise when we wait upon the Lord, we will be renewed and we will run and to be weary nor faint (Isaiah 40:31). The Bible says that the “Joy of the Lord is our strength” (Nehemiah 8:12). How do you regain your strength? Restoring your relationship with the strength giver – your Father in Heaven.

3. Iniquity: Strength can fail because of iniquity. So what is an iniquity? Webster's dictionary says: A gross injustice or wickedness.

How many of us want justice? How many hate wickedness? It could be that your iniquity came from your ancestors. Nehemiah 9:2 says that the people of Israel separated themselves and confessed their sins and the iniquities of their fathers. They knew that their father’s sins could contribute to many of their problems. What was their father’s sins? Those who didn’t keep God’s commandments.

Exodus 15:2 sums it up by saying The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him a habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him.

a. In this one verse, first we need to realize that the Lord is our strength. First and foremost we need to acknowledge God in everything. And a song will come into our heart. Music is health to our soul! Music tames even the savage beast. The Bible says to sing and make a melody in our hearts to the Lord (Ephesians 5:19). When we are full of song, we cannot be full of sadness. Sadness causes our strength to fail (Proverbs 15:25)

b. He is my salvation. We need to trust completely in him in everything. If you have a hard time believing God, then confess this to Him. If you do not know Jesus Christ as your savior, now is the day of salvation.

c. He is my God. Have we made him our God? What comes between us and God? What idols do you have in your life? Are you loving Him with all your heart, soul and mind? Are you loving others as you love yourself? The Bible says that whatever you do to the least of these my brethren, you do it unto me (Matthew 15:40) We need to know Him intimately for ourselves. Have a relationship and “know” He is God!

d. I will prepare Him a habitation. What does this mean? The Bible says that the Kingdom of God is within us. That is where He lives if we are His, within us. So what is in there? What does God have to dwell with? We need to continue purging and getting rid of anything that is contrary to God and his nature and character. We are to take responsibility for our lives and prepare our hearts.

e. And I will exalt Him. The major area that people don’t do is praise and worship God in spirit and in truth. To give him the glory. There are accounts in the bible that people were actually stricken down or even given a disease because they didn’t give honor to God, but instead took it for themselves. We need to check our heart and remember that “all good things come from God” (James 5) and anything good we do, God is doing it. We need to give him glory where glory is due!

You can do a further study on the word “strength” as there are many more scriptures that reference it and how to obtain it.

Eye Disease:

Again, by looking up the word “eye” in the Bible, you will see what can cause eye problems. In the following two verses, it’s from grief! We already read earlier that grief means, “Pain of mind on account of something in the past; mental suffering arising from any cause, as misfortune, loss of friends, misconduct of one's self or others, etc.; sorrow; sadness. hardship, suffering, affliction, burden, oppression.
It’s up to you to deal with each and every issue listed. Pain of mind? It says it’s dwelling on things in the past. Self-pity comes when we dwell on things in the past too. We are told to keep our mind on things above, but we are not doing the Word if we dwell on thing in the past. Or did you lose something? A friend, a loved one, relationship with someone, business partner, etc? Are you sad? Do you suffer a heaviness and oppression? These all need to be dealt with one by one. Each area requires restoration on three levels. With God, yourself and with others.

• Psalm 6:7 “Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.

• Psalm 31:9 “Have mercy upon me, O LORD, for I am in trouble: mine eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly.

Some disease can be inherited. Your DNA could have been changed by a former ancestor who did not serve God and could leave you and your children wide open for disease! Medically proven and documented, depression can alter DNA in the generations to follow! Remember, all life begins at the cellular level and if it can be altered in any way, disease is eminent.
